104E - Stella Wien

Bon Trading Co. Reseller of Brevetti Robbiati Model "B" - "Atomic" - Leaflet

A warm THANK YOU to Mr. Goddard of BIG PELICAN
for providing me pictures of this early Bon Trading leaflet!!!

Interesting for me are, if i put to side the preparation tips,
the 2 little pictograms as well as the Good Housekeeping Institute stamp.

Look carefully (head of the machine, handle of the Jug)
and you will see an Aubrey & Marion Gay Sassoon coffee maker.
(to compare see here)

The "Good Housekeeping Institute n°2359" was granted to the Uk machine.
(See here for the leaflet of A.&M.G. Sassoon Model Standard)

Enjoy!
I finally didn't have to wait 2 years 2 months and another 23 days!

Just for record...

If you look at the above collection of leaflets of the different manufacturers i researched, have a look under "Brevetti Robbiati".

At the complete bottom of the page, you will find 4 links leading you to leaflets of a  prominent reseller: "Bon Trading".

The last of the 4 links is this one: here
( I do mean the bad quality little Crops)

Now look at the date: 1st of December 2011.

2 years, 2 months an 23 days ago.

The leaflet reappeared this week on the web.

I did ask the seller for a scan or a good quality picture: No answer.

I slowly come to grasp, looking at my blog,  the achievement of mastering patience.

Let me tell you one thing: i am looking forward to the day, may it be in 2 years, 2 months and 23 days, when someone will send me a scan of this leaflet.

About the Great Prince of the Coffee Machines...

Siegmund Salzmann was born in Budapest and moved to Vienna aged four, where he obtained Austrian Citizenship. In 1923, he wrote a story about a ruminant mammal and its friends living in a forest.

For those, who still don't know what i am talking about:
BAMBI IS HUNGARIAN.

HUNGARIAN JUST LIKE THIS "BAMBI" AND ITS DESIGNER IMRE SIMON:

If you recall the face of this charming child,
it's because you have seen him already here.
(Imre Simon's eldest son)

Funny is that the "Bambi" coffee machine also migrated to Vienna!!!
Desider Stern (Stella) was manufacturing them... but this is another story!

Adieu Mik's Project 2013 !!!

Thanks to all 5 of you!

With my 100+ visits per day... it means you are reading 20 pages every day... or are there people reading my Blog who didn't contribute? That's inconceivable!!! How rude!

Time to say Adieu to Mik's Project 2013!

Merci Vincent!
Merci Mr. A!
Merci Lucio!
Merci Frank!
Merci Alex!

Santa Claus didn't bring the expected machines... but enough stuff to write another 258 posts.

I stopped making wishes for 2014.
What is the point of wishes when you know they will become reality?

2014
The never ending story.
