Mm. Stern's collection.

Mm. Stern has done an AMAZING job at keeping the legacy of her father in safe hands.

Many families would have thrown all the "old papers" away, and the "dust catching" machines... Not the Stern family.

Although one might think "who could have thrown these 7 and 1 wonders away?"...
keeping the legacy of your father alive is not self-evident...

How many manufacturers have long gone forgotten?
How many coffee machines will stay fatherless?

I feel a deep respect and admiration for the family Stern for having taken the right decisions.

If you have one of these at home, cherish it...

And if you want to put a little card in front of your machines like Mm. Stern did, with style, on a old "Olivetti lexikon 80" typing machines of a "friendly" concurrent of her father:

I will now name the Stella espresso machines from left till right:
(Model name - "Public name if any" - Manufacture years)

Top row:
1) Model 505E "Lucullus" (1953 - 1974)
2) Model 306E "Piccolo" (1950 - 1951)
3) Unknown Model - Austrian Patent number: 175983 (1952)
4) Model 105 with electric base 105 E "Atomic" (1950 - 1953)
5) Model 110E "Atomic" (1950 - 1953)

Middle row:
6) Model 102 "Atomic" (1948)
7) Model "Atomic Electro" (1948 - 1950)
8) Model 104 "Atomic" (1948 - 1974)
9) Model "Bambi" 6 (1949 - 1959)
10) Model "Bambi" 2 (1949 - 1959)

Bottom Row:
11) Model 405 (1952 - 1974)
12) Model 402E (1952 - 1974)
13) see 11
14) Model "Minipress" (19??)
15) Model 405E (1952 - 1954)
16) Model 305E "Piccolo" (1950 - 1951)

It would be an insult to say this collection is not complete... that's the most complete of Mr. Stern's creations you will ever see!

But, in the annoying purpose of accuracy, i write down those "odd" missing models:

_ the Model 402
_ the Model 110
_ the electric base Model 402S and 104E.
_ the cooking machine "Grillux".
and a mysterious spirit burner... seen on one single picture... a long time ago.
