EUKINO - S.A.C.C.A.B. Spa Milano - Eugenio Roncoroni - Bon Trading Co.

And while you bore yourself  to death on my Blog...

... i realize i developed some funny tricks along the way...

You know what i mean... like here or here ...

when i saw this:

I am sure E-V-E-R-Y-O-N-E of you recognized the

EUKINO

This whip cream device got patented on the 15th of October 1946 by Eugenio Roncoroni of Milan...

... that's just a month after Mr. Robbiati patented his coffee maker (14-18th of September 1946)
  !!!!!!

I found 2 patents... one in France, one in Switzerland... both in French.
Since i have made some posts about the french ETNA EXPRESS recently... i went for the Swiss patent:

Ok...

The whip creamer got patented a month apart to Mr. Robbiati's coffee maker...
... in the same town...
and they can be found on a catalogue side by side...
... on the same page...

So What?

Well,
I'll tell you.

The Bon Trading Company in Woolahra, Australia was also importing this device!!!

At some point, Irene Notaras even protected the name EUKINO in Australia:

I am ever so proud to share with you these documents now, provided to me by a collector going by the name of Waterrat ...  May he be thanked now both publicly and anonymously for the email exchanges of the past few months. It is a pleasure.

A business letter from the Bon Trading Co. promoting the EUKINO:

And this original advert:

My son Eugenio 's grandfather! Too bad he died of a sudden heart attack and the banks called in the loans for the enlarging of his company and his wife, my ex husband's mother, was left all of a sudden destitute with 5 children. A fitting vindication that his grandson, my son named after him, Eugenio Roncoroni, is one of Italy's most successful young chefs, with 4 restaurants in Milan and an upcoming appearance on Top Chef Italia 2016.

Thank you for sharing this amazing story with me, Giulia! We could talk about fate for hours. I am happy your son found his path. To strive in a Passion and to be successful in it are two disjoint "concepts", and it is rare the 2 fit together. It looks like your son just managed. Eugenio senior surely looks pleased from above. Bless you, Mik
